In February of 2020, I traveled to California to visit one of my sons and hang out with old friends. I lived in California from 1984 until 2000, and my time in California was in a period when the state still had a viable Republican Party and regularly elected GOP senators and governors. Even then, it was still the ‘fruits and nuts’ California, but it was functional and fun, and a great place to be young. I enjoyed going back, hiking with my son, and chilling with people I’d known half my life.
I was headed back to Texas on March 1 as Covid’s arrival in the US was breaking in the news cycle. I noted quite a few people at the airport wearing masks and remember thinking that the mask might become a permanent feature of American life.
Two weeks later, virtually every business and institution in the country had closed. My youngest son left school for spring break, and didn’t go back for the rest of the school year. What I saw in the reaction of so many millions of my fellow Americans was not flattering. What I heard from the government officials at all levels was foolish. What was to unfold was unprecedented.
We are three and a half years out from that period, and the past years have included events that bode ill for my country, and for the rest of the world. What I see are alarming signs of decline in our culture, institutions, democratic governance, finances, and group relations. Around the world, there are new wars; Europe is at the edges of a horrible war of attrition, and the Middle East has erupted into a new war over the Jews. To complete this ugly picture, the Chinese could take this moment to attack Taiwan and the wars would be worldwide.
Nothing I associate with societal stability has improved since 2020. The world I grew up in and the world I lived in, even in California, is fading away, and a new, far more perilous one, is being born.
Because there is nothing new under the sun, the plagues that have descended in this period all have historical precedent. Some of those prior events are ones I learned in my long study of world history. Some are precedents I personally lived though. I, and millions of others, see how current events relate to these precursors, and we know how bad this can get. It is the events combined with the knowledge of where they can lead, that is summoning the Old Testament Prophet in me.
Here are the major events the past three years have brought.
A Man Made Pandemic
Early in the pandemic, weeks after the lockdowns began, I heard Bret Weinstein speak on Joe Rogan’s podcast and suggest that the virus was man made. This seemed so fantastical that I discounted what he said. It sounded ‘alarmist’ even to me at the time. Here it i:
I had already determined that the virus wasn’t a risk to me and wanted to alter my life as little as I could. The media reported that the people who were getting sick and dying were old and those that had strong ‘comorbidities’ meaning they were also obese or had Type 2 diabetes. I was not old and did not have any comorbidities and didn’t feel as if the virus itself was life threatening.
The public warnings about the virus, however, were extreme and authorities from President Trump on down carried on daily press briefings. They said we had to suffer through a closure phase, then unprecedented, to ‘flatten the curve’ of hospital admissions. No less a figure than the Governor of New York, in one of his daily pressers, explained that the ‘two weeks to flatten the curve,’ was simply to slow down the transmission, keep the hospitals from turning away sick people, and that after that period, the country would open again.
Those early promises of two weeks lasted, in many instances, for two years. There was no trigger to stop locking down. All the while, medical and governmental authorities flailed about, changing directions, sending definitive but contradictory messages. Millions of people died from the virus and more from failed medical interventions. Hundreds of thousands were unemployed. Millions of kids left school and have never returned. Every day set a new alarming precedent.
It is apparent now that the lockdowns did more damage to everyone else not affected directly by the virus. The reaction to the virus spread misery far and wide. The full tally of what the virus did, what the medical establishment did trying to treat the virus, the number of people who died because of effective but rejected treatments that were not tried shall never be known. How many elderly died from being put on ventilators will not be known, and how many died because of the rejection of treatments, such as hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin, will not be known. The message was lockdown, masks, distancing, or death. Conform or die was the official policy of nearly every governmental agency in the United States. It was shocking then and is shocking now.
By early 2021, there was a new emphasis was getting vaccinated. There were consistent efforts in the states to mandate a vaccine to work, shop for food, or travel. The US courts in many instances saved the public from mandatory medical treatment, but the same people who came out strong for lockdown and distancing and closure also came out strong for punishing those who would not comply and get vaccinated, even if they had already had survived Covid and had immunity.
Again, the vaccines, like the initial news about the virus itself, proved to be hideously wrong. The vaccine did not prevent transmission, and it didn’t provide immunity. And for many, it was not safe. It is now well established that the vaccine created heart issues in some of the young people who were OK before the vaccine and had little risk from Covid. It has since been abandoned.
Finally, the truth about the virus’s origins was revealed. The virus was the product of lab research funded in part by the US government, which is funded by taxing the American people. In other words we paid for this misery. Covid-19 was a bat virus dug up in caves in China, driven hundreds of miles to a highly populated city, and manipulated to make it MORE transmissible. This is what ‘gain of function’ research means. Then, either by accident or on purpose, the virus got out of the lab and spread. These facts are no longer in dispute. This is what happened. It was never something that occurred outside of the will of individual people.
And so, here we are, millions of fewer people later, with precedent for locking down society in the name of safety in place and millions more so weak and fearful that they do not value the freedom they’ve lost.
The Covid response was different than any other pandemic in human history. Never has the medical establishment so perverted the public interest. There is no such caution around obesity, drug use, or any of the daily pathologies that drive the death rate in the United States. I had previously only read about pandemics in history books. Now, I have lived though one. What I saw was a pandemic of fear and cowardice. I will surely live to see these plagues return.
Rodney King Redux: George Floyd
The next crisis after Covid reached American shores I was already familiar with. Before there was George Floyd, there was Rodney King. The names of George Holiday, Rodney King, and Darryl Gates are forever etched into my mind. The riots carried on in Rodney King’s name are a personal memory to me.
In March of 1991, George Holliday was fiddling about with his new video camera when he heard a commotion outside his window. He walked onto his balcony and shot a video with his new camera which captured Los Angeles Police Department officers trying to arrest a drunk driver named Rodney King. This video was sent to the news media, and subsequently, the most violent parts were put on a loop and played continuously for weeks in Los Angeles, and then around the world. What was seen over and over was not the full story, but it’s what flashed around the world.

The LAPD police chief was Darryl Gates, and here he addresses the city council and cautions them about what would happen if the city didn’t ‘support’ the police. He is begging them to shut up and not encourage mobs of people to riot. No one liked what they saw on that video, but the city was opening calling for people to reject police authority.
Gates spoke in vain. In LA, there was palpable baying for cop blood after the video was shown, and the LA County prosecutors accommodated. Four officers were brought up on charges normally reserved for criminals in the act of committing a crime. However, months later, when these officers were not convicted, the city blew up in an orgy of rioting, robbery, looting, and murder. No less than 50 people died in the riots, often the rioters who were burned alive when other rioters started fires. Only mobilizing the military stopped the mayhem.
I remember this well because I was hunkered down in an apartment on the northwest corner of Franklin and Normandie at my girlfriend’s apartment the night the rioting started. We slept on the floor the first night because we could hear the gunfire and police helicopters all around us. In later years, this rioting would be referred to as ‘the LA Rebellion.’
The story of Rodney King was a precursor to the story that unfolded just as the world was coming unglued from Covid.
In May of 2020, a Houston native with a long criminal history entered a small grocery store in Minneapolis and tried to buy a pack of cigarettes with a fake $20 bill. The owners of the store called the police, who subsequently arrived and questioned the man the store owner pointed out.
Every second of the interaction between that man, George Floyd, and the police was captured on body cam video, which was a system put in place after the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. These cameras were meant to demonstrate that the police were not targeting black people, but rather, black behavior was driving events. Here is the Wall Street Journal’s cut of the interaction with George Floyd which captures the reality of what happened. It is critical to watch this first because it documents what happened independent of the reaction to what didn’t happen.
Unfortunately, as was the case with Rodney King, a bystander caught some video of an officer kneeling on Floyd, as was consistent with police training. Floyd was clearly having a medical crisis, an ambulance had been called, and three officers were trying to keep him still while they waited for an ambulance to arrive.
This photo was published around the world, and the race of the individuals, not the facts, drove the story. There wasn’t, and didn’t need to be, any evidence that the police actions that day were driven by race. The photo alone was the evidence.
It was Floyd’s actions that led to his sorry state, and he had a heart attack and died. But the bystander photo and video provided the unofficial record of what happened. In the public mind, George Floyd, career criminal, was choked to death because he was black by a white police officer. It was assumed with no evidence at all that the police kneeled on his neck because he was black. All responsibility for his state was transferred away from him. The police were declared guilty by every elected official and several candidates for president. These declarations undermined law enforcement as had been the case with the LA police during the Rodney King hearings.
Here, the mayor of Minneapolis declares the police guilty and states that rage is the appropriate emotion:
The rioting spiraled out of control and the police did not, or could not, stop it.
The 2020 rioting over George Floyd was global and deadly. Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, London, all burst into flame over a man who the police were trying to save. George Floyd died while waiting for an ambulance summoned by the very people who were jailed trying to save him from the drugs he had voluntarily taken, and he had Covid.
The police officer kneeling on the back of Floyd’s neck was later identified as Derek Chauvin. Chavin and the rest had summoned an ambulance for Floyd since he was obviously in the middle of a medical crisis. Here is what was being reported days later, and this includes some of the social media posting taken by people who were walking by:

Eventually, the four officers involved were brought up on changes, but the one in the photo, Derek Chauvin, was put up first. The trial for Derek Chauvin was carried on under masks, and inside a courthouse barricaded from mob attack. Imagine the impression jurors received as they entered the courthouse. They knew, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that they had better convict Chauvin no matter what, or they would be the target of the mobs and that the city, state, nation, and certainly not the Minneapolis police, would not offer shelter.
This situation was the virtual opposite of the situation that faced the four officers who were charged in the beating of Rodney King. In that case, the trial was moved from LA to Simi Valley, which was a mostly white and very conservative community outside of where the event occurred. Chauvin, on the other hand, was to be charged in the same city where Floyd died, with the potential for rioting clear to all. Both events created violent rioting, but one prosecution was unsuccessful, which brought on the Rodney King riots, and the other was successful, sent the officer in question to jail for life, and that slowed, if not stopped, the rioting.
The message could not be any clearer. To stop the rioting, officers must be sent to jail, facts be damned.
What happened next was entirely predictable. The police forces around the country took note and responded accordingly. Police simply stopped enforcing the laws, especially where the suspected offender was black. The death rate for young black men rose and rose. Other police were ambushed and abused, and more police precincts simply went into survival mode. the Minneapolis police saw waves of resignations and still can’t get enough officers to do that job mandated by the city charter.
Many neighborhoods around the nation were largely unprotected from murderous violence. They are still. Law enforcement will never be the same post-George Floyd, and I suspect many still don’t know just how vulnerable they are. We’ll never know how many additional people have been killed because the police have been told it’s not worth taking any proactive action. The number, based on increased crime statistics, is between 2000 and 5000, mostly young black men, dead at the hands of other young black men. This is George Floyd’s legacy.
Incidentally. George Holliday died from Covid in 2021.
Rodney King died in a pool at his house. He had many further run-ins with the law and bought the house with his settlement money. The notoriety killed him, though the LAPD did not.
Darryl Gates died of cancer at age 83, in 2014.
Election Integrity Collapses
I recall quite well the disputed election of 2000. George W Bush was locked in a battle with Al Gore, and the winner came down to Florida, where I was living at the time. Down in the counties that contain Miami, the election had been carried on poorly or fraudulently, and so the entire national election hung on less than 1000 ballots that were so poorly designed that no one could tell what the will of the voter was. The results were decided in the Supreme Court. The winner was George W. Bush, but he was referred to as the ‘president select’ rather than the ‘president elect’ for the next three months. This was not the first or last election where the results were in question due to weak ballot design, procedure, or protection.
Through the Covid period, the United States was trying to conduct a presidential election. The incumbent, Donald Trump, had been impeached in January of 2020, but not convicted in the Senate. A plethora of candidates on the Democrat side rushed forward, and the list included sitting senators, the gay major of a small town in Indiana, perineal socialist Bernie Sanders, and the former senator and vice president, Joe Biden. On the Democrat side was a white hot and irrational hated of Donald Trump, and they had tried everything to undermine him. The ‘resistance’ actions even before Covid were unprecedented and extreme.
It should be noted that in the United States, the winner of any contest is chosen by the mitigating system known as the Electoral College. There is a popular vote, but it then assigns the lumpy electoral college votes which are allocated by the states. So, California has a huge population and many electoral college votes, but smaller Ohio also has electors and the electors from Ohio are not exactly proportional to populations of California. This is the system as it was designed, which was meant to give smaller states proportional power relative to the bigger more populous states.
This distinction is important to understand what happened in 2020. If there was an effort to manipulate the outcome of a presidential election, it would not take a great conspiracy to accomplish. All that would need to happen is that a few precincts in a few states would need to manage a few votes this way or that, and the entire election courtesy of the electoral college, would do the rest. There would be no need to swing an obvious red state, like Texas, or double down on an obvious blue state, like California. The states to manage would the close calls, like Pennsylvania and Michigan, and to swing those states, the effort would just need to focus on the urban and Democrat dominated cities like Philadelphia and Detroit. The number of polling stations that could determine the entire election can be counted on two hands, and Covid opened the door to vote manipulation just wide enough to make the outcome manageable.
The effort to make voting ‘easier’ has been underway for decades, and thanks to Covid, states mailed out ballots in masse and relaxed the rules around who could vote and when. Every state had different rules, and in many cases, there were no published or vetted rules right up to election day, and certainly no rules or checks in the two weeks of ‘early voting.’
The evening of the election, things were moving along as they normally do, and then around 11PM, there were odd stoppages in the counting in the swing states. Many, including me, suspect this pause was the part where the number of needed votes was determined, and then the ballets were uncovered from wherever they had been hidden. Here is what the results looked like the day after the vote, when it was still undecided.
Michigan (dominated by Democrat run Detroit), Pennsylvania (dominated by Democrat run Philadelphia) and Georgia (dominated by Democrat run Atlanta) all went for Biden after the ‘final vote’ tally was revealed. That was enough to push Biden over the goal.
We long ago undermined our own election integrity with idiotic things like ‘early voting’ which lasts for weeks. What happens to those vote totals in the weeks leading up to election day? Does anyone think they are sacrosanct and secure? And then we’ve instituted the crazily foolish ‘mail in ballots’ which also open the door to fraud, and anyone who dares seek to throw out a ballot is shamed by accusations of ‘voter suppression,’ ‘voter intimidation,’ or ‘suppressing the black vote.’ We will never have secure elections again until we take the rules seriously, and we did not in 2020. Covid was the pretext to get Trump. It worked, and Trump said so loudly and for many weeks leading up to the final phases of the transfer of power. This led to the riot on January 6 of 2021, and another black mark was put on the history of the country. The true story of the 2020 election and January 6 is, I think, still not told.
A Country With No Border Isn’t a Country
To the south of the United States is the territory colonized by the Spanish and Portuguese. The resulting societies have never been as stable or prosperous as the societies founded by the British. Mexico and Brazil are not exactly economically equal to the United States and Canada. Because of the economic disparities, people have walked to ‘el Norte’ from the south seeking work for decades. Under Covid, and even before, that flow of people began to turn into a flood. While the nation was destroying thousands of businesses and closing schools, the border remained as open as the streets where the George Floyd riots were carrying forward. There was no law on the north side of the border.
The southern border is now, for all practical purposes, open on the American side, and therefore, controlled by criminal gangs on the southern side. Problems on the border are not new, but the sheer volume of people entering the country has now reached the size such that more people are entering the country illegally than make up the population of whole states, like Wyoming or Maine.
And again, the undermining of law and order is now such that no human tragedy is beyond imaging. Children are used as props to get through the border process, and then abandoned. The criminal gangs demand ‘final payment’ from the women, which means being submitted to gang rape. ‘Rape trees’ fill with the underwear or the raped women are along the order and yet there is no outcry from the ‘pussy hat’ wearing brigades that marched in protest of Donald Trump.
The country is filling up with people who came here under false pretenses. The entire country is lying to itself about what is happening. Our citizenship is being watered down one illegal at a time. There is o way to enforce law and under this onslaught, and there is no law and order where wholesale rape is just the beginning of a long and corrupt chain of events. We hear about how ‘Goths’ and ‘Vandals’ sacked Rome. This was long the result of patterns of immigration into the Roman Empire that were not stopped or tolerated under various corrupt Roman emperors.
In the United States, we are there. We are being invaded, there is no will to stop it, and our cities are being sacked.
Debts That Can’t Be Repaid
I’ve said for years that nothing is harder to explain to a child than money. Try explaining a ‘medium of transaction’ or ‘store of value’ to a child, or just the average American adult. It’s hard to do, but it’s not really that complicated if you understand this core fact; the amount of money in circulation should equal the amount of goods and services available. For every real thing, there is a marker, or dollar, or yen or peso that allows that good or service to be traded.
But, if a government puts more ‘liquidity’ or money, into a market so that it outpaces the goods and services, which is the product of actual work, then the inevitable results, 100% of the time, will be the price of the stuff will rise to meet the money supply, and this is exactly why you can’t just give money to people who don’t work. It engenders inflation, and it’s just another way to make everyone pay for the freeloaders.
This is, of course, exactly what happened during the lockdowns. Many millions were forbidden from working, and so the government began to pump out money without taking it from the people in the form of taxes. How did they do this? They just printed it, or otherwise created it. So suddenly the amount of money in circulation was greater than the sum of goods and services, and right on time, prices began to rise faster and faster. If we ever wanted to know what ‘Universal Basic Income’ would be like, now we know. It leads to high prices and labor shortages and the number of people not adding to the economy rises and the price of stuff goes up anyway.
And now, the US owes more money than anyone has ever owned in the history of the earth, and it’s virtually impossible to pay back, and so, interest rates are high, and we will be paying interest on that debt forever. One day, someone will have to repudiate it, and that will lead to the fall of the value of the dollar and the inflation of every real thing.
This has happened before and it has been punishing for everyone, but mostly for the poor who will not be able to afford food. Hungry people riot even more than inflamed leftist agitators, and they are for real. Governments fall over bread shortages, and we are headed there. Prices have stabilized for now, but we are never going back to the merely foolish but manageable debt levels we had in March of 2020.
We are courting incredible violence and disaster by simply making money where there is no value. One day, the books are balanced by consensus or force. At this point, only force will work. The debt we owe, more than anything else, is the most likely path to the breakup of the nation during riot, starvation, and civil war. It has happened before in many countries and can, and will, happen here. The alternative is a authoritarian dystopia where only the rich and connected have access to food and safety.
I visited Venezuela when it was merely poor; now, they are a nation of intense suffering, and debt is what did them in. Their teeming millions are at our border. Where will we go when the idiots who just print money and the other idiots who accept it have ruined the country’s finances?
Denying Basic Biology About The Sexes
In my many years in Los Angeles, I worked with many, if not mostly, gay people. Gay Jews, gay atheist, gay South Africans, gay women, gay and trans men. Yes, I worked with a man who presented as a woman, who was also a lesbian. This person went by the name ‘Cristen’ but was clearly a man. I didn’t care that Cristin was a man presenting as a woman, but I know that the few women who worked at that company were ‘creeped out’ as one said, by sharing a bathroom with Cristin. I said nothing about it to anyone and got along just fine with Cristin because it was none of my business and Cristin was an extreme outlier in an otherwise highly convivial environment. Cristin didn’t look like a woman at all, he looked like a man in a Halloween costume pretending to be a woman, but, it was California, and no one cared.
But that was when no one was being forced to confess that Cristin WAS a woman or being forced to mouth pronouns as the moment demanded, and for sure, no one would have foreseen that the mere declaration of a different gender would be enough to access a gender segregated bathroom and then, in the most bizarre thing of all, compete against the opposite gender in a sporting competition. And by different gender, who all know what that means; a man being allowed to go into the women’s bathroom, expose his fully functioning penis, and compete with women in their category.
It sounds crazy, and it is. Here is Dylan Mulvaney, widely celebrated as a women though he was an actor seeking attention and claiming to be a gay man just a few years ago.
I became aware that there were men in women’s sports when I heard about a NCAA swimmer that was destroying competition. This turned out to be the former Will Thomas, restyled with longer hair and a one-piece bathing suit as Lia Thomas. Other than the hair and the suit, nothing else changed. Will claimed to have been taking hormones, but he didn’t state, and never claimed, to have been castrated or otherwise surgically altered in any way. He wa allowed into the women’s locker room without the consent of any of the other female swimmers, he undressed, his male body parts were readily apparent, and he put on a one piece female swimmer outfit, and went out to swim, as a female.
When ‘Lia’ got in the pool with girls who had been swimming their whole life and had finally made it to the elite ranks of swimmers, they were beaten by Thomas, who, if the records are allowed to stand, will have been faster than the female Olympians. The entire phenomenon was summed up in one photo that should be given a Pulitzer Prize.
Here we see hulking Will ‘Lia’ Thomas standing in the winner’s spot, but the ladies in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stand together and pose with their diminished trophies. The photo should stand as a record of shame for the NCAA that allowed this abomination to occur. Never again will I take seriously anyone who claims to stand for women’s rights or crow on about toxic masculinity. These fake women are the ultimate in toxic, hideous, perverse masculinity. They are many things, but not in any sense, women. My mother was a woman, as is my sister, niece, and the mothers of my children. I know what I women is and will not pretend these despicable men are the same. There have been men competing against women in weightlifting, MMA fighting and long-distance running. They have won in many instances, and in the case of critically important high school and college athletics, they have pushed the athlete that would have been 3rd into 4th place, and harmed that athletes’ chances to advance, not to mention pushing the winner to second place.
It is barely worth mentioning that gender is not a construct and is fixed and immutable. Gender is a basic biology and has been fixed for millions of years. We all pretended that Cristin was a woman way back when, but it didn’t matter. Now it does. Women, having fought for years for safety and equality, are being subverted by the trans phenomenon, and not to be outdone, the medical establishment sees ‘transitioning’ as big business. Trans is undermining the public’s acceptance of gay, and trans is the new anorexic, in that it has allowed the mentally ill to fixate on a new and more socially acceptable problem, and offer hope through negation.
In short, the entire trans movement is a societal level mental illness, and it is accepted and promoted by the president of the United States, who has promoted a ‘trans woman’ to the level of, of all things, Health, and Human Services. This is sickness and decadence at the high levels of government.

Weakness is Provocative
As a student of history, I’ve search for connections in my own life to American history. This hasn’t been tough as my family, and the community where I was raised, was full of veterans. My Uncle Bob was a veteran of D-Day and literally fought the Nazis on one of America’s deadliest days. Pensacola was full of veterans of the war in Vietnam. My first girlfriend, Regina, had no father in the home because he was killed in Vietnam. My dad was in Korea in its darkest days.
From these connections and studies, I have come to believe what many military historians and even many politicians believe, which is that weakness is provocative. The forces of chaos will act when they see weakness because they are like any predator; they seek out the vulnerable.
In 1980, President Reagan reminded all that peace is derived through strength, and weakness invites attack:
Reagan was running for president in an era still marked by the scenes of the US leaving Vietnam as the nation fell to the evil forces of the Soviet-backed Communist. I remember seeing this on TV when I was a kid, and it was tragic. Pensacola took in many refugees from Vietnam, and I met many of them. I met and was friends with their kids. This is a summary of how their nation ended.
That the US tried and failed to built a solid, stable, just, and modern society in Afghanistan, and failed, is not a tale of military weakness on the part of the US, but it is abjectly stupid, and stupidity is weakness. As such, in August of 2021, after 20 years and two trillion dollars later, with thousands of US dead on one side and an unknown number of Afghan dead on the other, the US left the country and turned it back over to the Taliban. This was a Vietnam moment, now on TV and the internet, for all the world to see. This was 20 years of weakness made manifest:
Watching closely was the inheritor of the husk of the Soviet Union, Vladimir Putin. He saw weakness, and thought he knew what it meant. The chance to regain some territory and restore a buffer between the West and his heartland, was at hand. In February of 2022, he set in motion the invasion of Ukraine, and turned the former Eastern Front in World War 2, alight again with tanks, battles, ambushes, artillery, and death. Europe will never be the same.
As of now, the war has not been like World War 2. It’s more like a World War 1 war of attrition as both the Ukraine and Russian governments throw the flower of their diminished youth at the battlefield.
The Once and Future Jews
Of course, it had to come back to the Jews. No group of people has been more abused and been the target of blame and assault then this tiny minority of people. I don’t know how many Jews the world things there are, but the total is small. There are 7 million Jews in Israel, and a few million more spread around, mostly in the United States. The total isn’t more than 14 million, and yet the one Jewish nation, the tiny country set on the exact land where they have lived for thousands of years, has been under steady assault since its national beginnings in 1948, and no effort to make a permanent peace with those that are adjacent and full of hate has ever worked. Every space the Arab minority displaced by the creation of Israel has ever controlled has been converted into an armed camp from which to launch attacks that have but one purpose; kill Jews and drive them from the land they were given to be sure the world would have Jews.
On October 7, 2023, the Palestinians in Gaza, a strip of land they controlled entirely and could have made into a coastal state, broke through the barriers the Jews had put up and perpetuated the largest individual slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust, during World War 2, including on the killing fields of Ukraine. Some 3000 men rushed over on foot, carts, light trucks and motorcycles, wearing jeans and t-shirts, and went on a sadistic killing spree. Every horror of the Holocaust was repeated that day, with the added horror of decapitations, baby murders, and mass kidnapping. No disgusting thing was not done while some 3000 Palestinians shouted ‘allahu al akbar.’

It should be kept in mind that the Jews were the Palestinians before they became Israelis. They, like the Arabs they lived with, were in a place the Romans called Palestine, which was Israel and Judah before the Romans put down a Jewish rebellion in 70AD. The whole area is full of deadly ironies reduced to a simple take that fits the radical ideologies that are morphing into the Western religion of ‘Woke.’ Like the Arab countries around Israel, the new Palestinians, and not the Jews, are portrayed as eternal victims. The new Jews are ‘white settlers,’ no different from the Anglos who rolled over North America. Israel is described as a ‘colony’ and an ‘apartheid state’ which are narratives that don’t fit the facts at all, but it hardly matters. How ruefully tragic that the Jews were rejected and murdered in Europe after 1900 years of being present but powerless in every European country, and when they retreat to the geography of their birth, they are rejected again, this time for being too much like Europeans. They were hated in Europe for being a stateless people, and as soon as they were granted a state, they were hated for that, too.
Why? Because we are in an openly post-truth era, one in which the Jews are oppressors, men can become women if it suits them, borders are irrelevant, debt doesn’t matter, and defeat has no consequence. So much discourse now is openly dishonest, but also deeply held by the adherents. Language is molded to make understanding less, not more, clear. No facts or analysis or appeal to reason will work. We are in the realm of pure power politics, which, once talk has ended, is open warfare.
And so here we are, besieged on all sides with the institutions that have supported and defending the country I was born to in decline, and with elections mattering less and less. My money and my citizenship are eroded by debt and uncontrolled borders, and the cultural that produced male-female unions, and thus, children, has been mortally wounded. The people who blur the lines between men and women are allied with the men who openly rape women on an industrial scale.
The madness is not only on foreign shores either. Days after the rape and murder of Jewish men, women and children, this was what happened in Times Square, in New York City:
It should come as no surprise that the same people who have been talking about microaggressions, safe spaces, marginalized communities and the rest would cheer on the murder of Jews. Their poses were always transparently fake, and their claims to victimhood a ruse to entrap the gullible. They have always been the opposite of what they present in so many ways. Antifa, for example, which is anti-fascists, turns out to the actual fascists. Trans women turn out to be aggressive women hating men. The purveyors of compassion are as heartless as humans come. The ‘allies’ of women and aggressive proponents of women’s rights are the ones most likely to reduce a woman to a collection of body parts. It just goes on and on. That they celebrate the death of an actual marginalized community in the nation that is the only safe space they know, is as unsurprising as it is inevitable. We can only hope the useful idiots in their midst realize what dupes they’ve been, but I hold out little hope of that. Religions need martyrs, and plenty of leftists and willing to die for their causes.
Where does this go? I’ve maintained for years that the younger, less white legions are waiting for the chance to murder the old order that is whiter and richer. These people have failed to create viable economic models for themselves and now are seeking to seize the wealth of the older generations and exploit it while they can. If South Africa is any example, and it is but the most recent, when the ‘oppressors’ have been tossed out, the institutions and infrastructure that create the prosperity the younger cohort craves will decline and the older, tribal orders will reassert themselves. South Africa, Zimbabwe, Somalia, Pakistan, Syria, and many other seething danger zones were once a part of the British Empire. They were colonies. Now, they are free of British control and influence, and Britain is quickly becoming less free or British with each passing decade. Ditto many cities in the United States including Detroit, Baltimore, Oakland, and Chicago. When the old order is overthrown, a new order does not rise. Disorder takes hold. If the Palestinians were to ever overrun Israel and murder all the Jews there, does anyone doubt that the new Palestinian nation, from the Jordan to the Sea as they say, would be a third world poverty zone in short order? Of course, it would.
All these things are part of a repeated pattern, easily discernible, but like so many other truths covered by lies, unspeakable to many, unthinkable to many more, but still true. And the truth is what forms the reality even as new lies are invented to cover the truth so often staring us all right in the face, red of tooth and claw. I may be unaware of many things, and wrong about others, but what I see is factual, and it portends calamity in our times, and death for many and decline for others.
These signs are what is turning me into an Old Testament prophet of the kind that warned the Jews of antiquity that death and exile was coming. Daniel, Ezekiel, Malachi, all names still with us, all from the Bible with stories about how the decadence of the leadership in Israel after Solomon was leading to national destruction. The old Jews fell, rose, and fell again to the Romans, and have risen again. Now, they are fighting for their lives.
We are all Jews now. The forces of chaos are expanding and the world is changing. Until now, modernity and civilization has been led by my country and culture in America. This leadership role has made us a target. As the Iranians say, Israel is the Little Satan and America is the Big Satan. The United States has been a promised land, and, like all nations, can fall into unlivable chaos.
Do I place these slides at the feet of progressive Democrats? In America, yes I do, but the changes are not just in the US. Europe as a whole is in terminal decline. The knowledge centers of the world are lost to irrational pseudoscience and diversity obsessions. They’ve incubated a real problem, deep unabating anti-Semitism, while pretending to be beacons of enlightenment. The problem is deeper than a party or candidate. The problem goes down into the culture, and it can only be fixed there. Molding broken cultures without war has never, to my knowledge, occurred. At the end of an era is the war to start the new one.
